Previously, I wrote an argument that is a validation of all religion, but only through the yoga(union) of religions and it was meant as an argument against those atheists who like to ignorantly discredit religion and use the corruption and abuses of man within religion as evidence that god does not exist, to which, I find a lack of logic and an abundance of assumption. But there is another side to this issue that I need to address as that which is human within me erred in not discussing it within the original post. And that is the issue of adherents to a religion needing to define themselves by a singular religion and need to believe in a historicity related to their prophets and the myths surrounding them as validation of their belief. The act of association with a single religion whether it be Judaism, Christianity, Hinduism or Islam, etc. is an act of mental violence by the ego. It purports that MY religion is the one true religion, it is an act of spiritual divisiveness which I opine is a precursor to all violence whether it be verbal or physical. Sure you may express tolerance of other religions, but tolerance is not acceptance and it most definitely does not include understanding.
The fact that there are so many integral similarities suggests that the message of god is consistent and universal and that the only real difference between these various religions is the cultural aspects; the man made aspects. And as Terence McKenna says,"Culture is your enemy." And when it comes to the word of god, it has most definitely been the enemy of man along with tradition and blind faith. For it has been these elements that allowed the organizations to rise up and morph into the power structures that are more concerned with oppression than with truth, hoarding wealth than alleviating the suffering of the poor and more than anything else, being the supreme power on Earth.
There is an absurd tendency among certain religious devotees to have to need to believe in the miracles of their prophet, and such belief gives them the justification to divide themselves from the rest of humanity with the declaration of their faith. They have no doubt that whatever miracles are ascribed to their prophet that they must be real even though the immutable laws of physics say that it is an absolute impossibility. Mind you a large part of the problem is that they were raised to believe the miracles as an aspect of their faith, that to not believe the miracles could result in being punished by spending eternity in hell. And the people who taught such beliefs largely did so because they really had no idea what they were talking about. More often than not, ancient scripture is riddled with ideas, imagery and concepts that are multi-layered and/or codified and in some languages such as Hebrew, were deliberately written with this multi-layered dimensionality to it which then often becomes lost when translated. Take for example the myth of a Savior born of a virgin; a common theme throughout many religions throughout the world, but, when looked at with a little astronomical knowledge, it can be easily seen that the reference is toward the rising of the constellation Virgo(the Virgin) on the Winter Solstice right before god's only sun/son breaks the horizon as viewed from around the equator.
It seems to me, that such blind faith in one's religion is the greatest act of disservice that you can do to your religion and yourself. It includes a level of ignorance that has been passed down as well as a certain abdication of personal sovereignty that is your free will. The religious devotee is told to accept as truth the teachings of their church, to not question the church's authority that the church leaders have insisted is theirs by Divine right. Yet, when one researches the history of their religion and the church one finds a history that should raise questions about the veracity of the teachings as well as ignobility of the church leaders of the past responsible for many heinous crimes against humanity. How one can honestly have faith in the teachings of a church that has protected its agents from persecution for their criminal activity, even when that criminality goes against the church's teachings, is beyond me.Mind you, we cannot paint everyone within a church as being corrupted, abusive, many are the sincere devotees who strive to be following scripture with all things that they do and these are those that also tend to do the charitable works that are not reflected within the hierarchy of its leaders.
This need to cling to an alleged unprovable historicity does not bring validity to their belief as they want to be believe, in fact it brings a justified criticism and even ridicule from the ego of the disbeliever. It becomes a deterrent and worse a mockery as it is no more than faith in fantasy and presupposes that blind faith in a miraculous fantasy is enough to further one's spiritual journey, where-as the truth is that it makes one vulnerable to the abuses by the corruptible power structures within a religious organization and without it as there are those that will make claims of associations with a church in the hopes of finding favor with the devotees of that church.
Many religious people when confronted with the deeper meanings within their scripture and the similarity in their prophets react violently against such information. They seem to feel as if it destroys the validity of their blind faith and want to reject it. Yet, the truth is quite the opposite. Yes, it may take away from the false belief of a historical prophet, but it doesn't detract from the core of the prophet's message which was one of love, compassion, humility, forgiveness, etc. Yes, it may reveal that your church someway along the way has lost its way and this would be due to that most adversarial human element we now know as ego and it is ego that needs to cling to these misunderstood myths. Acknowledging the fact that the miracles by which a believer defines his/her belief are the same miracles recorded by religions throughout space and time is not a validation of the miraculous, but the first steps in understanding causation, to which the religious miracle is the effect. As I wrote in the previous blog, this is not due to imitation and the belief that it is such is quite fantastical and reveals a lack of critical thinking considering the millennia that separates these religions as well as the thousands of miles of ocean. The fact that many atheists accept this as evidence that all religions are false is ironic as it seems that it is a belief accepted without critical thought and therefore is nothing more than blind faith; the stuff of religions. But don't tell an atheist that as they will become quite emotionally vociferous in their disagreement.
A more likely answer to the the question of similarity in religious myth is that they were all inspired by the same source, or largely the same source, for as one investigates this subject they will discover that there is more to it than they realized. One of the most obvious source of such inspiration is the movement of the heavenly bodies especially those of our solar system as their cycles were the easiest to chart. Another less obvious source is the entheogens that have been associated with many if not all the fertility based religions that were an extension of the early sun worshippers that predated monotheism. This history of the evolution of religion is all the validation a rational person requires to know the true value of the prophet's messages of love, forgiveness, compassion, humility, generosity, etc. Especially as these qualities are as common as the mythologies themselves.
So, the real question that still lies unanswered is how to bring about the truth through the union of religions and is often the case within mysticism the answer is really quite obvious, to which I shall explore further in upcoming posts. But I shall leave you with this tidbit of a thought tease; all dualities are actually trinities.

The Truth About Religion
There is a propensity among certain individuals to be dismissive of religion and considering the abuses of religion throughout history, this should not be a surprise. Voltaire, the father of The Age of Reason began his fateful path in response to the corruption of religion and the monarchical governments of his day. But the thing is, in respect to religion, it wasn't religion that was abusive and corrupt, it was the human element who were the representatives of religion who were well entrenched within the hierarchy of their religion imbuing them with power over others that were corrupt.
Five hundred years after the birth of the Age of Reason(AoR), there are two perhaps three schools of thought that maintain a dismissive attitude towards religion. The first is the Atheist, who for the most part are quite vocal about their dismissiveness of religion and use the failings of religion as evidence of their belief that there is no god.It is a fallacious argument for it assumes wrongly about religion, especially the panoply of religions, for to them, so many religions, allegedly each saying that they are the one true religion over all others is proof for their belief for it raises the question; which god is the one true god? This is a question that is reactive at best, suggestive of emotionalism and also seems to reveal a deep ignorance of the finer points of all these religions that actually reveal a common thread.
More than thirty years ago, as a young man I toyed with this question regarding which is the one true religion. I stepped back from my own religious upbringing and looked at these religions from outside the box of belief and concluded that since none stuck out from the others that either they were all true or that they were all false. If one religion is true then they all must be true, and conversely, if one was false then they were all false for there truly was very little beyond the cultural wrappings of these religions that were different. I must confess, at that time I was quite unknowing, that my perspective of these religions was superficial at best and my religious education at that time would be best described as being a trite exoteric literal Protestantism. Feeling a need to choose one side or the other I decided to flip a coin and decided that they were all false and that there is no god. How wrong I was in my assumption, but then again, I probably needed to be wrong first so that I could later find the truth. To be found one must first be lost.
The second school of thought is the New Age, it seems to be born of loose threads and while it rejects the dogma and rigidity of orthodox religion, it seems to function much the same creating leaders and followers. It promotes a slew of self help pseudoisms in a pretentious search of satisfying the ego and was largely born of the "me" generation of the 60s and the 70s. They may or may not believe in a god, tend to be solipsistic and focused on manifesting material wealth as if it could have any benefit to them spiritually. While there are some good self help books out there the notion that manifesting wealth will make one happy has to be one of the most superfluous and wrong headed beliefs out there. A lot of New Age material has a basis in truth and has connections to ancient cultures, but is presented in a manner that makes such truths difficult if not impossible to discern. The idea that certain emotions such as sadness, grief, anger etc are always negative is mistaken for there are healthy versions of these emotions and there are unhealthy versions, it all depends on whether one's experience with these emotions is conscious or not. For them their dismissiveness of religion is rooted in their rejection of its rigid dogma, but much like the atheist, they are, in my opinion, throwing the baby out with the bathwater.
The third group are religious people themselves who dismiss all other religions but their own. They may tolerate other's beliefs, but deep down in their hearts they erroneously believe their religion is the one true religion; such is the way of ego. There is no rhyme or reason for their conclusion as it is largely based on 'blind faith'. Even their knowledge of their own religion is pretty much determined by the religion's elites and past onto them by their priests, ministers, bishops, etc. They are told what to think and what to believe and kept in a heightened state of fear that they will spend eternity suffering the torments of hell for simply being born into this world. Ignorance is the bliss taught the Vatican, and of course, we know that knowledge is power.
K.I.P
Though I took a path determined by a coin toss, I knew deep down inside that I was not being honest with myself regarding what I truly believed, for I did/do feel a profound connection to the universe, to our planet, to all life, to the sun in its glorious arc and the artistry of a sunset/rise. I would commune with nature, converse with the animals of all sizes and sat beneath many a tree seeking its wisdom. nurtured through it being a silent observer all that went on around it in the hundred or so years of its existence.
Some years later when my young son asked me if there was a god, I took the reasonable rational position of ambivalence. I told that some people believe in god and some people do not believe in god and neither side is capable of proving their position to the other. I told him that it would be up to him to decide if he believed there is a god. My wife on the other hand who was a former Jehovah's Witness barked at him that there was no god. If asked today I would add that I do believe that there is a god, but that no single religion has got it right, that in fact, most of, if not all these religions, have seriously failed god. I would tell him that god is not some anthropomorphic reflection of humanity, is not sitting in judgement of you for your sins(no such thing) and will be probably best understood as a mathematical formula such as an algorithm.
Why hasn't one single religion got god right? Basically because, god in Its infinite wisdom saw the folly of sharing It's knowledge with just one group of humans, being as how frail they are mentally and how out of control their egos can get. So, god distributed It's knowledge throughout all the religions of man. An analogy for this that I like to use is to compare god's word to that of a pure white light and that the realm of man is 3 dimensional therefore much like a prism and when the white light of god's word struck the prism of our existence it refracted into the many hues of the rainbow and each hue represents a religion.Even a cursory look reveals many similarities in the mythologies of the various prophets as well in their teachings. Born of a virgin, crucified to atone for man's sins, performed many identical miracles and the list goes on. And they all taught simple moral codes as well as concepts such as love, forgiveness, compassion, humility, etc.Go even deeper into the esoteric understanding of religion and what is revealed is a mystical thread of continuity that weaves a fabric of truth binding all these religious beliefs together.
Religion, from the Latin, religare, which means to bind or to form a union.
Yoga from Sanskrit literally meaning union.
I mentioned earlier the similarities in the mythologies of many prophets regardless of their space time position, , that in fact these prophets were the personification of sun worship(among other things to be discussed later), Jesus, Mithra, Ra, Osiris, Baldar, Indiri, Quetzalcoatl, Zoroaster, etc. In certain circles, this leads individuals to conclude that these religions borrowed from each other and that the lack of originality is evidence enough to dismiss religion and belief in god altogether. While that is one interpretation, it is one that I do not agree with largely because many of these religions had no contact with the others being as they were separated by centuries and thousands of miles of ocean. If anything, these consistencies prove profoundly that there is something very worthwhile contained within the scriptures but it shall not be revealed with a shallow literal understanding of the scripture. There is no denying of the abuses of the churches that arose around these prophets, but that too reveals not a failing of god or of the prophets and their message, but a failing of man and his ego. The justification for the abuses committed simply because someone did not agree with their dogma is clearly the product of man's ego running amok and does not reflect on the existence of god unless your understanding of god is a shallow literal understanding.
The truth of religion is not found by dismissing them, it is found by binding them together in union through the threads of commonality, the stories, the symbolism that are woven between them. And to truly understand the thread of truth woven through the rainbow fabric that is all religions, one has to seek the original meanings of the words within the ancient texts to which all the abusive organizations that dominated the scriptures have corrupted or simply just lost touch with the original meaning thereby confusing the Truth with a political agenda and a desire for material wealth and power.
It is a fair thing to say that the vast majority of humanity believe in some sort of god and feel that their life should have some sort of purpose; that throughout the history of mankind, humanity has sought answers to the whys and the wherefores of the natural world as well as their own existence. Over the last two millenniums, our understanding of the natural world has evolved and changed and we have even developed a means in understand the natural world and it is called the 'Scientific Principle' and while not entirely perfect, it is the best method we have and for the most part works quite well. So, why is it that religion has not evolved in a similar manner? Basically because religion wants to 'bind' its believers to a single doctrine that is based entirely on blind faith and if it is understanding that you seek, it will not be found from within the confines of a dogmatic belief system. But from out of the box of any one religion we can utilize the scientific principle in understanding the words, language and symbolism of the writers of ancient texts and develop a conclusion that is not limited to any one belief but involves the vast majority of beliefs from around the world and throughout all time.
Five hundred years after the birth of the Age of Reason(AoR), there are two perhaps three schools of thought that maintain a dismissive attitude towards religion. Waking Up to the Cycles of the Ages
It has become quite clear to me for sometime that there are many people who are suffering the effects of having just a little knowledge, to which they have unreal expectations in regards to what is happening in the modern global society. They are frustrated, feel anger, hopelessness and fear. They feel that The Powers That Be(TPTB) are too entrenched, that humanity has failed, that we have wrought too much destruction and pollution upon the planet and, and just look at our history of war and genocide. My gawd! we are the most brutal and savage beast that there is. All we can do is war. And truth be told, to an unenlightened mind, it would seem so.
The awakening process goes through many stages and it is not a gentle blissful experience. In fact you probably had a degree of bliss prior to the awakening, for then you were ignorant and as the Vatican promoted;ignorance is bliss. The awakening is a process that tears down illusions and lies as well as exposing the half-truths that you believed in that defined the paradigm of your existence. In other words it is a sharp slap in the face if not a brutal beat down on the mind. It is a heart wrenching experience to discover the depths of betrayal perpetrated by the adults you trusted and the society you were taught was the height of civilization. The realization that that which you were raised to trust is not trustworthy is a painful experience and anyone who suggests otherwise know not of what they speak.
The awakening process generally begins with a little knowledge and if I haven't made it clear yet, a little knowledge is a dangerous thing. It is even more dangerous when that little knowledge is peppered with half-truths and lies, for there are forces that do not want you to free your mind and so they are active in muddying the waters. Conspiracy theories abound and quite frankly, not all theories are created equal and just because it is a conspiracy theory does not mean that it should automatically be dismissed, especially without some investigation and nor should it be believed. The truly enlightened one knows how to maintain an open mind as well as to not get emotionally attached to what one believes.
Along with the awareness of the matrix of lies and control systems implemented to keep humanity under the thumbs of TPTB, also comes a small amount of knowledge of mysticism and symbolism which has often been referred to as the occult and was branded as evil by one of the most horrific religions created by committee to war on human consciousness. Though they branded it so and tried to keep it out of the hands and minds of the average person, they themselves are thoroughly entrenched in it and have much of it hidden in its scriptures, if one knows how to read it, as well, their holidays are synchronized to it(astrology). TPTB have long been using this mystical knowledge to their own benefit, they understand the power of symbolism and have been using it for centuries. So, that when one begins to learn about the truth of TPTB and the secret organizations, they also learn these symbols because of their association with TPTB. Because they are exposed to these symbols in relation to TPTB, they assume that the symbols represent evil. These symbols are neither evil or good, they are neutral. They can be used by anyone for any purpose. It all depends on intent.
There are many "conspiracy theories" out there and not all theories are created equally, though an enlightened mind is an open mind and does not dismiss any possibility without having solid reasons to do so, and, that within an infinite universe there are infinite possibilities; though not all possibilities are going to take place in our little tiny inconsequential corner of the universe. That being said, it is not my intention to defend or deny any 'conspiracy theories' but to offer some knowledge related to these changing times also known as the 'end times'. Let me be clear that I am not an expert at anything, I do not make any such claims. I have a good competent knowledge base on many subjects, as well I do not limit myself to the clipboard toting left brain mentality of the materialist scientist. While they are good at what they do, they, due to the dominance of their left brain thinking and the myopic perspective of their specializations, are incapable of seeing the whole picture holistically, spatially. And it should be said that such a high degree of specialization that takes place in our educational systems enables the control and the flow of knowledge. A doctorate is the reward of successful indoctrination. Personally, I decided long ago that I would rather be a jack of many trades than an expert at just one. And if you take a good look at the history of science this was the common way of being for most scientist up until the end of the 19th century.
The first thing one must be made aware of is that THINKING is overrated especially to the mystic. All thinking is hindsight and while it has its place in the balanced mind, the average mind of today is not so. This modern age is experiencing the ramifications of the Age of Reason, a favoring of the rational and the logical and a denying of the intuitive and any thing else reason cannot explain. This imbalance when combined with a little knowledge produces conclusions that induce fear, anger, anxiety, etc., thereby further shutting down one's ability to reason and triggering the fight or flight response like that of a deer trapped by a car's oncoming headlights. This is what they(TPTB) want as a people wrought with fear are much easier to lie to and control. As well, such a mind is not a still mind and is not a mind in the moment simply being which is what you are, a human that is being. A mind that is simply being in the moment is not involved with reliving the past, especially past emotions, and like a still pool of water is better capable of reflecting the universe and thus receive inspiration.
The next thing one needs to understand is that the universe is not chaotic, it is finely organized. The moon orbits the earth every 28 days, the earth orbits the sun every 365.25 days and the sun has an orbit that takes nearly 26,000 years. There are some debates as to the actual number, 24,000 by some, 25,920(72yrs X 360) and 25,740(71.5yrs X 360)-this is all related to the precession of the Equinox. This precession of the equinox sees us travelling through the various houses of the Zodiac also known as the mazzaroth. Presently we are upon the cusp of a changing age moving from Pisces, symbolized by twin fish, which just so happened to be the symbol of Christianity in both ancient and modern times, into the House of Aquarius as Jesus told his disciples in Luke 22:10 and is symbolized by a man carrying a pitcher of water. Prior to Pisces was the age of Aries the Ram, Exodus 19:19 which refers to when Moses blew the Ram's horns and further is later depicted by Michelangelo as having Ram's horns. Prior to Aries was Taurus the Bull and the Egyptians worshipped Apis the bull and when Moses descended Mt Sinai he destroyed the golden calf he discovered his people to be worshiping. Its destruction was marking the end of that age.
As we move toward the Age of Aquarius, many people seem to think it will be an age of enlightenment and to some degree we are seeing it, though not to the degree needed to enable the changes many hopeful people want to see. The reason for this, is that they do not understand what this age will bring. Most people with a basic knowledge of astrology connect emotions to Aquarius and this is true, but in the scope of world ages it means something else. Just as a personal awakening can be a personally traumatic and emotional experience so too will it be for humanity as a whole. Water symbolizes something else as well, something so obvious it might not be easy to see; it represents a cleansing. Following the Age of Aquarius is Capricorn and Capricorn is dark and death. Its position on the mazzaroth is located at the bottom, following it comes the archer, Sagittarius who points the way upward. What this means is that before we can even imagine having an enlightened society we have over 4000 years to pass to have the Archer point the way. Our present position on this nearly 26,000 year cycle that Plato wrote about thousands of years ago, that many ancient cultures all around the globe were fully aware of, is at the furthest position we could be from galactic center and in nearly 13,000 years we will be at the closest to the galactic core. It is believed by many that this will be the Golden Age. Time will tell.
Other cultures also discus cycles of ages, the Hindus refer to the past couple of thousand years as the Kali Yuga which translates as the Iron Age and if you take a good look at our technological evolution over the last couple of thousand years, iron has played an important part. In Alchemical teachings it has been the desire of Alchemists to transmute iron, a base metal, to gold. It has been erroneously suggested that they were actually seeking to transmute metals but the truth is that this was an analogy for transmuting a base soul into an enlightened soul. And this is what many of you believe you are doing. You believe that you are awakening and there is some truth to it, but like a little knowledge a little awakening too can be a dangerously misleading thing.
What does it mean to be awakened and what can I do to make the world a better place? Well, if you are as awakened as you believe, then you have an open mind. Your thinking or investigation of theories is not confined by any paradigm such as religion. If you espouse a certain religion as being the only true way then; you are not awakened. If you discredit and disparage anyone who believes in a religion; then you are not awake. If you are dismissive or demeaning to those that don't agree with you; then you are not awakened. if you invest a great deal of emotion in your beliefs and express extreme states of emotionalism such as hate or anger; then you are not awake. If you find yourself getting upset or angry at governments and corporations; then you are not awake. If you think it is sad that a single person happened to get murdered, but are oblivious to the 20-30,000 people who die of starvation every day due to the economic system that enables you to live the high life as we in the western world do;then you are not awakened. If you believe in any of the establishment structures;odds are you are not awake.
A truly awakened individual knows that they cannot change the external world without first changing their internal world. They know to love unconditionally and recognize that everyone has their own path, their own journey and to judge someone because you feel that you are more spiritually advanced is to reveal that you are not spiritually advanced at all. Everything comes from energy and returns to energy and energy is the equivalent of spirit. Your thoughts and emotions are energy and when your thought/emotions are chaotic and negative, you are enabling TPTB that know how to utilize such energy. There is a mystical axiom that many neophytes learn and that is; as above so below. This can be turned on its side to say; as within so without. That how you see the outer world is a reflection of your inner world. What you see in others is a reflection of yourself, whether that thing be good or bad. There cannot be peace in the world when so many people are conflicted in their minds, when so many people are judging others and ignoring their own transgressions.
If you want to change the world for the better, then get busy on changing yourself for the better. Be at peace and when you find peace leaving you; investigate why. It will probably have more to do with how you are reacting than what the external situation is. Religion is not the answer, though within religion is wisdom that can lead to the answer. All religion is divisive and therefore benefits TPTB.
Be at Peace
What is the measure of a civilization?
What is the measure that deems that we in this 21st century of reckoning, do live, in what many believe is, the height of civilization? That we, as an allegedly civilized peoples have risen much higher than other in the annals of human history? Humour me in this quandary for truly the wisdom of this logic does elude me, for my head does not spin from any vertigo that one normally associates with such apparent lofty heights as is credited to this modern civilization.
If our society is truly at such a lofty vertiginous height; is such a classification determined by the technology of the modern political state? Some will argue with certain justifications that the technology of today is by far more advanced than any other known in recorded human history. Even though when pressed, modern engineers will speak in awe and envy at the technological marvels and the precision building that are the Pyramids of Giza, as well as other megalithic sites. Still, one could put such exceptions aside as just that, an exception, when one considers the many magical marvels of modern technology all wrapped up in the modern excuse for a watch, a ubiquitous device that is marketed as a being 'smart', even though it is an inanimate construct of rare earth metals and plastics known for their toxicity and manufactured by workers who have the rights of the enslaved.
Perhaps the height of our civilization is measured by how we grow our foods and the way in which we treat the natural world from whose loins all life on this planet did spring? The technology of our agriculture is again unlike any other that has been in the known history of humanity. With genocidal glee we spread the poisons to prevent the growth of unwanted plants, generally referred to as weeds and to indiscriminately destroy any life that may threaten our crop while the petroleum based fertilizers meant to feed the green, also strips micro-nutrients from the soil and pollutes the waterways with toxins that first killed the amphibians many decades ago; the canaries of the waterways, and is now attacking the pollinators of our food plants.
Or perhaps the height of our civilization is measured by its laws, statutes and regulations that have been built using a language the average lay person is not privy to, enabling a gilded cage of existence bound by an invisible matrix of lies and beliefs for the populace who are, for the most part, deaf dumb and blind to the workings of the jurisprudence of their state which physically entraps you within an area of land bound by invisible lines that if physically crossed will see you potentially put in jail. Where a non-living person can dictate to a living breathing being, laws that deny the sovereignty of the flesh and blood of the living.
Or perhaps it is measured by the educational systems used to educate and indoctrinate the youth of today in this, what many call the information age; or more appropriately the mis-information age. Where obedience and herd mentality is favoured over that of true logic and the ability to think critically for oneself. Where an education is a commodity that can only be afforded by the wealthiest members of society. Where science is being turned into a faith based religion and few are those that are being taught how to function and participate in this society, while the majority of youth are trained to be dependent on the non-living state to provide the means of their living.
Or perhaps the measure of the height of our civilization is deemed by the ease with which we rage war and can kill indiscriminately from thousand of miles away. Or perhaps it is measured by the economic systems that consider the death of 30,000 people daily from starvation to be an acceptable loss just so a few out of a million can hoard wealth and empower themselves within the political machinations of the unliving state and be heralded as a captain of enterprise and lauded as a leader of society.
It seems to me that regardless of whatever means we use to measure the height of civilization, that this civilization of the 21st century is truly not that much more advanced than that of any other civilization of the last six thousand years. And while it certainly is true that advances have been made in our knowledge base and understanding, those advancement do not qualify the modern civilization any titles suggesting such a vertiginous height to our civilization. Which begs the question;why? The pessimist will say that it is humanity's lot, that we are in truth a savage and cruel animal and that it has always been this way an will always be this way. The optimist will say that things are improving and that certain declarations of human rights are evidence of such improvements, as too is democracy;such folly. The conspiracist will say that it is because of reptilian body snatchers enslaving humanity and while others will blame; wait for it now, aliens. The religionist will say to give yourself to god's judgment because the devil rules this world while the capitalist will say that we are all a bunch of lazy slobs.
So, what say you...

The Evolutionary Revolutionary: More discussions on Natural Law
I used to believe that it was not money that was the root of all evil but that it was greed. Money, I would argue is just a system of exchange that evolved out of bartering to simplify the process of exchange. But, there is a huge difference between the two, for in bartering, the value of each person's exchange is determined by the two parties involved. But the value of money is controlled by an elite group of individuals who raise and lower the value to enable the funneling of wealth to the already wealthy elite. Because money requires a third party that sets the value of the coin it is in actuality a control system. The evidence is in the present day fact of the central banks of the world are largely owned by private parties with no government allegiance. It was a Rothschild who said and I paraphrase, He who controls the money controls the government. Money is, it seems to me a part of the problem. And as long as it exists in its present form controlled by private interests it will not serve humanity as a whole, but will enslave them-oops wrong tense, has enslaved them.
There is a reason why I ask how do you organize a society to be harmonious with natural law and it has a lot to do with the present state of humanity. it is obvious that the vast majority of humanity are not awake, they are enjoined within the matrix, they believe it has always been this way(self-defeatist), that society due to our pseudo-democracy is the best that it has ever been, so why do we want to change it. Then there are those that believe capitalism is the economic system of a free peoples, which is as delusional as the American dream in America. If the degree of ignorance regarding the gilded cage of their debt slavery was a life threatening disease the streets would be piling high with rotting corpses. It could be said that consumerism, which is evolved capitalism is a disease rotting the heart souls and minds of the populace turning them into the zombies of the corporate state-that person which is not alive.
Since the notion of violence is abhorrent to an Anarchist, as it should be, except of course when fulfilling the masculine principle of self defense, the notion of harmonizing society to natural law cannot be achieved through any government programs since government as it is, is all about the use of violence to achieve its ends. In other words the harmonization of society to natural law cannot be achieved through the usual means. It cannot be dictated, it cannot be enforced, it cannot come through violent revolution, it can only be achieved through a natural means such as evolution.
There are a lot of similarities between true communism and true Anarchism. The governments that have called themselves communists were not at all and the evidence is a known historical fact for the system of controls that were put in place were hierarchical with a minority ruling the majority, much like the pseudo-democracy that is in place in most of what is believed to be the free world. There has only ever been a brief shining light of true communism and at every turn they were violently wiped out and destroyed by the capitalists and then forgotten by the fog of history . Why didn't Russians help the communists of post WW2 Greece from the heavy hand of Churchill? For one the Greeks were engaging in a true form of communism, unlike the Russians. Everything was free, everyone had a share and a say. No-one ruled over others. I have argued for a long time that true communism and true democracy fit hand in hand. For in true democracy, you do not vote for a leader, you vote for a representative or an administrator to carry out the wishes of the electorate. That true democracy and true communism are each in fact only part of the equation.
In fact it could be said, and I am going to say it, that any single political system by which any governance is based upon is bound to fail and use violence to support and promote its intentions. And the use of violence to support any political system is a sure fire sign of a system failing. For each of these systems do not fulfill the needs of a society whether harmonized with natural law or not. In writing this comment I have come to the conclusion that the only way to maintain a society that is harmonized with natural law is to utilize a trinity of political theories. By the very nature of Anarchy, it is a politicism that cannot be forced upon others. It requires that people get there through the evolution of their consciousness.
True Anarchy=no rulers
True Democracy=everyone has their say=no rulers
True Communism=everyone has their share= no money=no rulers

Natural Law as discussed by Mark Passio
Let us discuss Natural Law by Mark Passio
It took me a couple of weeks to get through the lecture called 'Streetwise Spirituality' but I finally got through it, all six plus hours of it and the only thing that dragged it out so long before I could complete it was my own reticence in spending the time watching it. I am a cyclical person and lately the cycle I have been locked in is one of pessimism regarding my studies. In the last month I have spent an inordinate amount of time playing an open world video game. It has been my distraction as I bide my time. Why I am telling you all this, I really do not know, especially as it is my intention to discuss my impressions on Natural Law as discussed by Mark Passio in the lecture titled 'Streetwise Spirituality'. Perhaps by highlighting this aspect of my cyclical self, it will assist me in breaking the rote repetitiveness of this cycle.
The one thing that Impressed me most about his lecture is that every subject he touched on wasi/is a subject that I too have delved into in a similar manner, though, in most cases, certainly not to the same intensive degree as he does. This was a reassurance to me that I am not completely mad as some people do think of me as being for some of the far out ideas that i have discussed.
There are some things that I do not speak about too often, especially not to the degree he does, for example the magic of words, and the matrix of magic spells designed to enslave your mind via the English language, which is a contrived language of which a thousand words have been attributed to William Shakespeare alone, who it is alleged, was in truth one Sir Francis Bacon, known to his Masonic comrades as Speareshaker, a 33rd level member of the Freemasons. This is, in my opinion, an obvious; that the best way to control the minds of a population is to control the language that they use. How does one convey a concept if they do not have the language or even just a word that can be used to convey such a concept? A great example of this is; what if you met an extraterrestrial life form that was 99.9% energy and having no physical form they had no need for structures called homes or the possession of matter and now you find that you have been charged with negotiating a treaty with them and you have to impart on them how these things are important to humans. How do you do it?
There is so much that we take for granted with our language. Most of us are very very clueless to what it is we are actually saying and repeating ad nauseum to ourselves, making our minds sick with delusional false beliefs. How many times have you prefaced a statement by saying; 'I don't think.....'? Is it just a cute colloquialism of our language, or is it a poisonous self-defeating mind fuck meant to trick you into a non-thinking passive state? It is mathematically a false statement. Rather than saying, 'I don't think you are right.' It is better to say, 'I think that you are wrong'~ OR ~ 'I don't think you understand'. to, 'I think you misunderstand'. Odds are if you use such language with me, I will dismiss your thought as a non-thought, or worse, let my ego run amok and have fun with you at your expense.
Language is incredibly important, it defines who and what we are as individuals and as groups. Before anything can manifest in this plane of existence, especially at the hands of humans, it requires a thought to preface it, for all human accomplishments began first and foremost as a thought. What if there were not the language to conceive a thing as a thought. Could it still be manifested into creation by humans? I think not.
At one point Mark Passio delved into the violence of taxation and I feared that this was going to be the point where he slips into a politicalism that I have seen primarily come out of the U.S. called Libertarianism, to which, I was presently surprised that he did not. But it does raise a point about how a society governs itself. While there is no doubt that taxation as it is today is nothing more that an aspect of economic slavery, how does a society structure itself to be able to provide for humanity in a fair and equitable manner. It is one thing to have a society of hunter gatherers who live directly off the land, it is another thing altogether with the population that we have today. I do not equate this with overpopulation as some might. To me the problem is how do you structure society to function in a healthy harmonious manner with natural law? Does the concept of money fit into natural law? My inclination is to suggest that it does not. That it is just another means of attaining power over others. That money is a tool of the rulers, the accumulation of such creates power and power is generally a pre-requisite to ruling. Is a moneyless society possible? If not, can a society govern itself without some form of taxation?
When it comes down to it, just about anything is possible for a society, the real question is, is it preferable? True Anarchy does require a moneyless society, but such a society cannot be implemented from the top down, it must come from the people as a grass roots movement. A top down implementation can only be achieved through violence, where-as a grass roots evolution can grow and evolve peacefully, if allowed to. The unfortunate sad truth is, that regardless of what our intents are, regardless of how we try to shape the revolution, the odds are it will be conscripted by the powers that be and sold back to us only it has been infected by the zeitgeist of the rulers~ this is how they stay in power.
Sooo, what sayeth thou?

Perception and Reality
Is there such a thing as EVIL? And if so, what is it?
Religious doctrine of all kinds suggest that there is this thing called evil, but most of this religious doctrine is thousands of years old and simply should not be blindly accepted without a proper investigation and analysis. And if Evil does not exist, does that mean that GOOD also does not exist? For are they not opposites of one another and one cannot exist without the other opposing it?
Is there such a thing as DARKNESS? If so, what is it?
Is there such a thing as COLD? If so, what is it?
Odds are, you my dear reader, have answered to the affirmative on all the above. The general consensus is that all these things do exist, but science will suggest that may not be so. That these things are a perception of reality and not reality itself. Reality is something far larger than any person or even any species can perceive. Our sense of sight sees spectral data quite differently than that of other species. Even among ourselves, there are differences in how individuals perceive colour, as some are colour blind to varying degrees. On a small subtle level this reveals that there are differences in how we perceive this shared reality.
As for the question of the existence of DARKNESS and COLD, it can be argued quite effectively from a physics perspective that these are perceptions of reality and not necessarily reality itself. The issue of the relativity of what is cold is easy to discuss. Those born and raised in the Mediterranean have a very different perspective of what cold is than say those born in Siberia. Conversely the COLD and the DARK share another quality in that they cannot be measured, heat can be measured, light can be measured, so the only way to measure the dark and the cold is by the lack of heat and the lack of light. This raises the question; is this the same for EVIL, that EVIL is really just a lack of GOOD? But the problem with that is that EVIL and GOOD vary depending on cultural and religious influences, not to mention where our solar system is in relation to the Great Year(A future topic). And on top of that, GOOD cannot be measured any more than EVIL can be measured, but there is a quality that can be measured, which, when it is lacking, that there is a rise in what seems to our perceptions as EVIL, and that quality is LOVE. And yes love can be measured by one's vagus nerve the 10th cranial nerve that connects your brain to your heart and other vital organs. (There twelve pairs of these cranial nerves)
So, is it a fair statement to say that darkness is measured by the lack of light and cold is measured by the lack of heat and that evil is measured by the lack of love?
There is an aspect to all this which should be mentioned and that is that since the cold and the dark cannot be measured, but heat and light can, it suggests that the cold and the dark are a foundation. Remove the universe and all it contains and what is left is the theoretical Absolute Zero. Absolute Zero is a theorized lowest limit of the thermodynamic temperature scale at which the enthalpy and entropy of a cooled ideal gas attains its minimum value of '0'. This theoretical temperature is determined by extrapolating the ideal gas law; by international agreement, absolute zero is accepted as −273.15° Celsius/0° Kelvin. A temperature that cannot be achieved by thermodynamic means alone and has yet to be achieved in a lab. The alleged background temperature of the universe is approx. 2.73° Kelvin/ -270° Celsius which is damn cold as far as I am concerned. But that is only a perception...right.
Life exists on this planet largely due to light and heat which are both qualities of the thermodynamic activity of our sun. The spectra of light we see by and the heat we feel are a form of data being projected by the sun. My question to you is: is LOVE also a quality of sunlight? It is certain that light transfers data, just compare the spectra of different light sources. The different sources of light pro-
duce different wavelengths and the difference in wavelengths is a difference in data. Some light is more beneficial to life than others. Many people complain of headaches when having to be under fluorescent lights for extended periods of time. The light from Mercury Vapour lamps is not good for growing plants. Too much light can fry your retinas, not enough light will inhibit the growth of life.
There is a belief that life is a product of random events in a chaotic universe, which is illogical and potentially mathematically improper. Life is a complex order of things which has evolved from a much simpler beginnings. But those beginnings were not the product of random events in a chaotic universe, but were the product of random events in an orderly universe. The difference being that if life did evolve from random events in a chaotic universe then those same random events should also preclude the destruction of life before it can evolve into a complex multicellular organism. Multicellular being a euphemism for a community of organisms, for that is what, each of us as individuals are, a community of bacteria, virii and human cells. The fact that the chaotic universe did not destroy the early vestiges of life reveal that perhaps the universe is not as chaotic as it was once believed to be. That there may be an underlying order within the universe that insists that life be created wherever it is possible for life to be created.
Is a mother's love for her infant child just instinct, or is that love a reflection of something greater within the universe? Most life that we know of requires light and heat to prosper. Does it not also require love? Take love away from new life and its development is seriously hampered. It needs love as much as it needs heat and light. And if this is so, is it really all that far fetched to suggest that there is more to love than what the poets suggest. If light and heat come from the sun, is it not also possible that love too is a product of the sun.
So, what say you...?
